Duties & Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.

  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of the staff.

  • Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to established standards and resolve any operational issues or guest complaints promptly.

  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel  facilities to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards are met.

  • Train and supervise staff members.

  • Provide guidance to employees by identifying and delegating responsibilities, providing directions to staff, and ensuring restaurant objectives are met and achieved, to ensure a high level of customer service.

  • Foster a positive work environment that  encourages teamwork, employee morale, and professional growth.

  • Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Monitor guest reviews and ratings, analyze trends, and take appropriate actions to improve overall guest experience.

  • Ensure effective cost control measures are in place without compromising service quality or guest satisfaction.

  • Develop and manage the hotel's annual budget, including revenue forecasting, expense control, and profit optimization.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to  maximize revenue generation through effective pricing and promotional strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations and standards in all areas of the hotel.

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify  potential risks and take appropriate measures to mitigate them.

  • Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.

  • Ensure dispatch is done accordingly and timely.

  • Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.

  • Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.

  • Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills.

  • Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.

  • Assisting in the menu implementation and improvement of menu items from feedback gathered from guests.

  • Ensure proper care and control of property, equipment and materials.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to hotel operations

  • Perform any additional duties from time to time.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business administration or relevant field will be an added advantage.

  • Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data entry software.

  • At least 2 years in a similar role

  • Customer oriented, Effective Management skills and In-depth knowledge of hospitality operations.

  • Problem-solving, attention to details, negotiation and organization skills.

  • Ability to motivate, coach, mentor employee to bring out productivity and cohesion in the restaurant.

  • Ability to work independently, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions.
