Duties & Responsibilities
Proactively identify and approach prospective customers through cold calling, referrals, website visits, and networking.
Develop a deep understanding of the assigned sales territory, including key players, upcoming projects, and market gaps.
Promote and sell construction and manufacturing products to customers within assigned regions.
Conduct product presentations and provide technical advice tailored to client needs.
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers including site supervisors, architects, engineers, procurement managers, and contractors.
Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and market feedback.
Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
Requirements & Qualifications:
A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other relevant field.
A minimum of 2-3 years of proven field sales experience, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or industrial products
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex products in simple terms.
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and work independently with minimal supervision.
Good knowledge of the construction procurement process and site operations is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within Nairobi and surrounding regions.
