Duties & Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and approach prospective customers through cold calling, referrals, website visits, and networking.

• Develop a deep understanding of the assigned sales territory, including key players, upcoming projects, and market gaps.

• Promote and sell construction and manufacturing products to customers within assigned regions.

• Conduct product presentations and provide technical advice tailored to client needs.

• Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers including site supervisors, architects, engineers, procurement managers, and contractors.

• Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and market feedback.

• Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other relevant field.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of proven field sales experience, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or industrial products

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex products in simple terms.

• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.

• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Good knowledge of the construction procurement process and site operations is highly desirable.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.

• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within Nairobi and surrounding regions.
